Cons
The environment is unfair, there are groups of people that publish papers, and other groups that have to work in production. Belong to one group of another depend on how sneaky you are to play stupid with your actual n+1, by not doing your actual tasks, and play along with the ones publishing. If you have good work ethics you will get destroyed doing production, you will not publish anything and your work will be publish by some of your peers that have no shame on doing so. There is a big problem with Indian casts, it exisst a parallel hierarchy to the official one. If you are Indian high cast and part of the cool group you are sorted. HR does nothing about this despite the fact there is one person leaving a month.
