Salary becomes a trap

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Best HR policies on weekends work, comp off and travel allowance on weekend works, diwali bonus, ayudha pooja gifts and amount. Leaves are plenty, 28 PL and 12 CL

Cons

If you believe only in your work for carrier growth then its tough. We need to make our Team leads as our best friend to get promotion. Even you might go 4 years straight without no change of position. No one will care about your position. You'll get into this company with very high salary and every year salary will keep increasing very much but that becomes a trap for us, we can't try to switch company if we want to, as no other company can provide more than what Valeo gives for your years of experience. So you get stuck and stagnanted here and that's when you'll realise how much advantage the company has taken on you. The work gets tougher and complicated and you might not like it but you have no choice as you can't go out due to the salary trap. Work life balance will get destroyed but still you can't go out due to salary trap. Mental health gets affected and that's why they conduct mental wellness sessions. They have a tie up with a stress counselling organisation which provides you free stress counselling session all because of the highest level of stress here. For salary we come but end up dead here.

Pros

I don't see any pros except for the salary and the benefits.

Cons

1. Very Very bad management : They treat you like a slave that should work for 24 hrs a day and in the weekends without complaining just because they planned it all wrong from the first place. They LOVE to acquire projects that they cannot affoard developing, they acquire the project and then search for engineers to load them with extra work , and if you just complained about it , you will be considered lazy and a BAD employee. 2. There is no technicality you will gain , they always like the old way , the old languages , and the old methods , you won't be updated with any new technolgies or even programming languages. 3. They concider the one who works till late hours is the perfect employee ,even if you were playing all day long and worked the last two hours. 4. internal movements are not that easy , even if you are accepted in another position , your manager can simply put that off for months and months , just beacuse "it's a business need".

Pros

1. Good Salary package 2. Health insurance 3. Organisation is small and new, therefore politics is less 4. Technology wise good compared to competitor. 5. Good top managements who listen to employee needs

Cons

1. Worst work-life balance. Employee mandatorily required to be in office for 9:15 mins. 5 mins early, the system will detect half a day leave automatically. 2. No option of Work from home, even in covid-19 situation certain employees are forced to come to office risking their health. 3. Management and HR not at all in sync, all HR decision are taken without managers discussion and won't reflect employee issue. 4. Speaking against HR, management will put employee in soup.
