      Great Company...Tweaks Needed Though

      Pros

      Global brand recognition, good pay and benefits as compared to other organizations. Several brilliant and intelligent managers in the department I'm in.

      Cons

      Visa is a workplace that is far more political than the other global organization I worked with previously. You really need to watch your back cos arrows are flying all over. My main complaint is the poor staff development and opportunity for professional growth. It has been said that if you work far too long in Visa, you cannot make it in the "outside" world.

      Good brand, great reputation as company, very good pay, OK benefit costs, competent co-workers, travel was supported by decent expense limits.

      Cons

      Bad managers put in place; never figured that one out; hard to advance, very political environment that could be better managed by sr. execs. and managers.
