Good products, broken company culture

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Their products are great, the community loves them, and they’re very successful in what they do. Work life balance is pretty good, compensation is competitive, and job security is strong

Cons

The company culture is a minefield, with huge bias towards the CIS region, minimal career development for non-Russian speakers, and lots of political decision making.

Pros

At Wargaming they helped me to develop my skills and gave me the opportunity to live and breathe my passion for gaming. Just as importantly I got to work with an incredible team who all assisted me in my progression of my chosen craft.

Cons

Unfortunately as they merged into another company, the new company as one downsized.

Good games and great culture

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Opportunity to work on massively popular games. Worldwide development structure. Travel opportunity. Culture is amazing, feels like a family.

Cons

Sydney office lost focus and flapped for some time in 2016. Cannot compete on compensation with other tech jobs in Sydney.
