A Great Studio for a Specific Market

Pros

Wargaming has a strong understanding of how to appeal to history buffs, military enthusiasts, and slower-paced shooter players. Working at Wargaming, expect to learn a bit about that market, all while receiving very fair pay, excellent benefits, solid work/life balance, and a good community of developers for anyone who enjoys old-school strategy games.

Cons

Wargaming got its position by appealing to a relatively untapped market, and thusly is just beginning its journey towards understanding other markets. The culture of our studio certainly feels different from any of my experiences with other studios, and with most lifecycles falling into an exclusively-waterfall structure, development feels a bit archaic and unresponsive at times.
