Pros

- Not bad pay to be honest - I luckily have a nice team so everyone is friendly - The role is (I hate to say it) a bit tedious but in my office my team make the work really enjoyable - My manager(s) care about my progression which is of course really nice

Cons

- You are constantly speaking to people, it is a bit draining but as long as you re-charge it is fine

Pros

Worked with amazing teams and really supportive managers! Overall, they were really flexible with hours (dependent on the department). Decent growth opportunities.

Cons

While there was room for growth opportunities they tended to take forever, mostly due to the financial restructuring the company was going through. Job security wasn't great because of this and they got rid of a lot of benefits.

Pros

Fair salary for a very fast-paced workplace full of buzz, excitement, different problem to solve everyday like a daily puzzle. You get to meet a lot of interesting people.

Cons

Too fast-paced and you can only have promotion when the business decide that they are short of experienced employees who are obedient to management decisions instead of challenging. Not the right place for anyone wanting stability - I had 7 line managers in the 3 years of employment.

Pros

Most tenants were pleasant to work with and made the day-to-day environment more bearable. Office amenities such as the water dispensers and coffee machines were appreciated. The actual job scope itself was relatively straightforward — the biggest challenges came more from internal management and workplace culture than the work itself.

Cons

Simple job made unnecessarily difficult by insecure and ego-driven management. The culture felt extremely clique-based — if you were not part of the “inner circle,” expect to be sidelined, excluded from opportunities, and unfairly scrutinised. Management frequently made poor operational decisions, while promotions often seemed to favour politics, image management, and personal loyalty over actual competence or leadership ability. There was far too much emphasis on protecting reputations internally instead of supporting employees or improving processes. Processes were overly complicated and buried under layers of unnecessary red tape. Training and orientation lacked consistency, with different managers introducing entirely different workflows and expectations for even basic tasks, making onboarding far more confusing than it needed to be.

Pros

Where do I even begin! The pros are honestly endless, so much so that it might sound “too good to be true” but every word is genuine. The culture at WeWork is unbeatable. I’ve never worked or even heard of another company that listens to its employees this much. Your voice truly matters here. From a new joiner to the CEO, everyone’s feedback is valued as long as it’s contributes to the betterment of our members, teams, or the business. The leave policy is one of the best in the industry (especially in India). The company genuinely respects work like balance and harmony. WeWork India also invests heavily in professional and personal growth. We have personal growth credits to pursue hobbies or learn skills, exchange programs, Culture Jam and Guru program. The list of opportunities is endless. There’s also a further education policy that encourages continuous learning and development. The wellness initiatives are fantastic. From Dedicated health drives to employee wellness events and insurance the company goes above and beyond to ensure our well being. Another thing that truly stands out is the flat and respectful hierarchy. While the structure is respected, what truly matters is the value to bring to the table. Your work and ideas are recognized, regardless of your title. WeWork India believes in celebrating wins more than highlighting failures, and the positivity shows in every aspect of our culture. On a professional front growth opportunities are immense. You’re never restricted to one department. If you show interest and initiative, your managers will support you wholeheartedly through internal job postings (IJPs). I joined 7 years ago at an entry level Position and today, I am the Territory Manager - a testament to the growth potential here.

Cons

Hard to think of any major cons. The pace can be fast and dynamic, which might not suit everyone, but If you thrive in an environment that’s always evolving, you’ll love it here. WeWork India is on the of the few real estate brands that’s deeply tech driven - everything from operations to community management relies on digital systems. While this is a huge advancement in terms of efficiency and innovation, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first if you’re not tech savvy. There’s a learning curve when it comes to adapting to multiple tools and processes, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature.

Life at Wework

Pros

If you’re in the right department, you will definitely feel at home and genuinely appreciated. The work-life balance is great, which makes a big difference in day-to-day productivity and overall job satisfaction. There are plenty of opportunities to grow and upskill through LinkedIn Learning and in-house training programs across various departments. Managers are approachable and easily accessible, making it comfortable to seek guidance and have open conversations.

Cons

In some teams, growth and promotions can feel influenced more by favoritism than by actual skill or performance. There are instances where individuals with limited capabilities advance faster due to proximity to leadership rather than merit. Additionally, during promotion cycles, the salary hikes tend to be minimal, which can be discouraging for consistently high-performing employees.
