Pros

Experience and training was useful

Cons

Understaffed and often missing stock, staff benefits were nice (50% most stores at welcome break) but would have been nice to be able to make a free drink or have some food when working full time on minimum wage

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Glad you found the training useful and enjoyed some of the benefits that we offer. This summer we are offering £1 meals for all employees and we are always exploring new work place incentives. Kind Regards, Charlotte Hughes Resourcing Advisor, Welcome Break

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It's great to hear that you enjoy working with your team and the discounts that we offer. I'd urge you to speak with your line manager about the long shifts if this is not something you want to do. If you'd like to discuss this further please reach out on Recruitment.Admin@WelcomeBreak.co.uk Kind Regards, Charlotte Hughes Resourcing Advisor, Welcome Break

Pros

As a manager you get free food and drink from most brands on site. Good discounts from high street retailers using the mywb website. Flexible shift patterns. Great team members who are willing to help.

Cons

Senior leadership is awful (I was once referred to by a regional operations director as “oi, you at the back”) they don’t have any idea about what is happening at a site level. Pay is way bellow the market average and they don’t care. There is no structure to the pay levels across the sites it’s a case of if your face fits we will pay you whatever you want.
