Not exactly what I expected

Pros

Pay was decent and opportunity for commissions and bonuses. Co-managers were reliable and easy to talk to. Health insurance and membership.

Cons

Moral very low. As a Sales Manager I spent 90% of my day dealing with membership billing issues. Club was ill maintained and dirty. Staff insubordinate.

Ability to earn benefits and bonuses. Nice gym. Large group X program. Exceptional performance by Group Exercise manager.

Cons

Dishonest PTM whos poor behavior was allowed due to the the ability to produce. Employees who supported this behavior were given opportunities, employees that did not faced harassment; the rest are too scared to say anything for fear of retribution or loss of job. Archaic computer system. Poor taste in uniforms.

Great people to work with, meet a ton new people.

Cons

No challenges, no growing, corporate staff treats club level employees like crap. The problem is from the top down. Pay is not competitive, it is barely livable.
