Business Outlook

Pros

Excellent working environment. Everyone really stays true to the team mentality. Tons of company happy hours, clubs, events, and initiatives to make it a fun place to work. No one is afraid to step in to help others. Very easy to make friends here.

Cons

Not really a con with the company itself, just a con with the industry. Publishing is a tough business and the pay rate (especially for entry level positions) is very low. I started in 2018 and was paid 40k for an editorial assistant job. For the amount of work that job takes, plus living in New York at the time, the salary made it hard to be financially comfortable. But again, this is really a fault in the publishing industry as a whole since other publishers face very similar issues.
