Friendly, transparent and focused group. great bonuses. Informal meets and discussions ... annual events are something to look at.

Cons

not many.but despite being a very big company it is not well known so might not look as impressive on CV as Mcgraw or pearson. Designations are deceptive

No longer 'the place to be'

Pros

I worked with so many hard working, smart, dedicated colleagues. They cared about their work, their authors and partners. Our benefits were still pretty good, and I think the work life balance was a huge pro. The office is conveniently located in Hoboken near the NJT, Path, Ferry and light rail.

Cons

The company has restructured more times than I can count. There is zero transparency in career opportunities, why certain people are 'placed' in new jobs, or why others are promoted. This used to be a company where you could work hard and you understood the end game.
