      Wiley has a great location on the water in Hoboken.

      Pros

      I liked the corporate culture of "town meetings" and a summer outdoor party for employees.

      Cons

      Departments seemed very territorial, and not always aware of what other departments were doing. The whole industry was in transition so while the company did a good job of making employees aware of these changes, it was not clear exactly how these changes would affect job security.

      Fine when I worked there, but undergoing a lot of downsizing now

      Pros

      The people are generally very nice, great to work with. Cafeteria has good food. They really like to promote from within, and have started a good mentorship program. Good HR

      Cons

      Lots of downsizing, so there aren't as many jobs as there used to be. Even whole product lines are being cut as Wiley moves more into digital publishing.
