      Lots of layoffs and reorganizations in recent years. That appears to be stabilizing with more positive earnings reports, but that could change at any time.

      Pros

      Overall, Wiley is a great place to work. The people are excellent and the PTO policy is very generous.

      Cons

      It's tough to get raises and promotions and certain divisions are not doing well--not unexpected in this economy, but unsettling nonetheless. Wiley is not immune to taking layoffs. It's a public company, so can at times can be challenging to balance setting yearly goals that are ambitious with the need for short-term declines to see long-term growth.
