Pros

Great benefits. Good balance work/life. I like the familiar atmosphere among employees.

Cons

New management restructuring the company. Some departments are understaffed and many positions remain underpaid for too long. Low salaries and limited promotion possibilities, specially for higher positions.

Pros

The culture at Wiley was excellent. Benefits were very generous, as was work/life balance. Employees felt a real sense of camaraderie and the overall sense of job satisfaction was quite high.

Cons

Changes to the direction of the business created low morale - the general sense was that communication from c-level executives to employees was poor.

Good opportunities if you work in the main office

Pros

Wiley is a large company with a very good reputation in the publishing community. It is a steady paycheck and a 40-hr family-friendly work-week

Cons

Less opportunities for people who work in branch offices. Not a lot of room for growth or advancement in a lot of the positions.
