Pros

1. Some talented and dedicated colleagues. 2. Good location. 3. Good health benefits.

Cons

1. There are also some people at Wiley who are ill-suited for their positions 2. HR staff members are not well-versed in benefit information and can rarely provide useful information. 3. Salaries for non-publishing positions are not competitive and there is little-to-no room for advancement. 4. Corporate policies and procedures are overly-complicated and rarely fully implemented.

Rather formal and serious atmosphere

Pros

The location is great and convenient to mass transit. There was a consistent schedule with very little overtime. Good intro job.

Cons

A little too serious and stiff.

NJ-centric, book company, so if you're based elsewhere and work in journals it might not be the best place for you. Limited career opportunities.
