Pros

You get to interact with the best professors in the business The standards of book development and production are really high News and events are communicated to all employees

Cons

No regard for work-life balance Working hours are 9am-8pm on weekdays and take-home work is given on weekends Not enough credit for good work, though errors are immediately and severely dealt with No clarity on career progression No clarity on role in projects

- opportunities to work with colleagues from overseas - exposure to different regional markets

Cons

-since the takeover of blackwell publishing, there has been a climate of fear - there were more staff in senior management than working staff

Great employee-friendly environment, truly believes in the idea of work-life balance with flexible hours, ample vacation time, etc., HR is extremely responsive

Cons

Slow pace of technological change, bureaucratic red tape (which can be expected of any large company), slow salary growth within the company
