Pros

I worked at Wiley for about two years, and I still miss working there. I was well supported, and my supervisor helped develop my publishing career. After about a year I got a sort-of promotion, as there was a new position opened that pretty much everyone in charge wanted me to do. Loved having a cafeteria and coffee bar in the building. Lunchtime was a great way to enjoy spending time with coworkers, instead of just eating lunch at your desk.

Cons

It's a pretty large corporate environment, so it can feel a little dry and boring sometimes. Also, like most publishers, the career growth can be slow. I lucked out early on, but if I had stayed at the company I don't know if i would have advanced again for a long time.
