      Colleagues are great to work with

      Constant restructure with no benefit, feels just like it's upper management trying to make a mark and then move on. There's never consideration for the staff on the ground floor who have to deal with the changes, who never have their opinions considered. Extreme outsourcing has resulted in lesser standards and quality in service.

      1. Location is convenient - If you live in NJ, their location is great unlike other publishers who are based in NY. 2. Vacation days and tuition benefits ( subject to manager approval)

      Cons

      1. The pay is very less even for entry level positions. I've seen PhDs work for less than 70K. 2. No flexibility - Flexible working arrangements such as working from home even for one or two days a week is not available. 3. The rules and structure vary between teams. Some managers are partial and special treatment is given to their close buddies

      Good place to work but constant restructuring for many years

      A lot of intelligent, friendly colleagues. Good income. Nice enough workplace environment

      Cons

      Constant restructuring over too many years has created a lot of job uncertainty for many people. Too many changes of top level management who then restart the same process all over again.

      Thanks for taking the time to write. Industry change is challenging and can create a lot of uncertainty.
