Good products but bad management in INDIA

Good products with good market acceptability across industries.

Cons

Focus is only on Indian made products by the Indian subsidiary (Mather Platt). Less technical knowledge about WILO products, less market penetration with Wilo products. Internal politics is very predominant with typical INDIAN mentality and culture. No actual WILO Germany culture in INDIAN subsidiary. No professional, favorism by seniors. too many approx 50 no in total VPs, AVPs,GMs and AGMs in India for business volume of 450 crores. Not a company to make long time careers. No strong company ethics like Grundfos or XYLEM.

Very professionally managed Company and allows subsidiaries to function in free way within the framework of agreed policies. Closely held family owned business but engages professional vision and direction for sustainable growth.

Cons

Some strategic decisions were generic for overall benefit of the group but detrimental for growing businesses in emerging economic countries like India and China.
