Pros

I had the opportunity to learn about the private sector investments that IFC has been providing to various private sector entities. A great place to learn. Inclusiveness is one of the strongest values the organization possesses.

Cons

Nothing really to say. My experience has been good.

International colleagues, access to expertise, & stimulating knowledge flows in the organization. Work life balance for some. Stable.

Cons

Very hierarchical organization with very little prospect for career growth for junior staff. Short term consultants are poorly treated. - Lack of team collaboration or team spirit, everyone staff is out for himself - Little to no career path and no lateral movements - Lack of true diversity - Some with questionable ethics and integrity - Income doesn't keep up with inflation (HQ office) and - No plans to address Low upward mobility
