Pros

Offers opportunities to learn significantly. As a short term consultant, you could have good flexibility, but it will depend on your manager

Cons

Career growth depends on who you know and if your manager likes you. Also, limited opportunities for U.S. citizens. Short Term Consultants often work as much as staff, however, they have zero benefits.

Pros

When you have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues who are genuinely committed to the Bank’s mission, the experience can be outstanding. Many employees are intelligent, collaborative, and deeply dedicated. These individuals bring wholehearted energy to their work, and partnering with them is one of the most rewarding aspects of the job.

Cons

Leadership and management are weak. To get ahead, you need to agree with everything and play into the bureaucracy. The Bank promotes “yes” people, and even new leaders quickly fall into this culture. Despite talk of change, the same problems keep repeating.
