Pros

Great opportunities to make a difference, and interactions with inspiring people.

Cons

Too much process at times, and complex operations. Career opportunities are limited as progress is dependent on applying for new posts (there is no 'promotion' as such)

Pros

Work is varied so my days don't look the same. Some technical expertise is needed along with project management experience.

Cons

Short term contract that keeps getting renewed but leaves you in uncertainty. Other people I know have the same experience for the first few years.
