World Health Organization reviews

This is a large and slow moving organization. It is overly formal and hierarchical, which can be frustrating for staff who do not feel they receive enough mentoring or guidance, or who feel silenced when trying to make a meaningful contribution. Staff have built-in disincentives to improve accountability and efficiency in the organization. This has negative repercussions not just for team morale, but also for global health.

While countries look for advice, the staff members are not able to provide it due to the bureaucratic advice against it. The staff members present the same thing every where irrespective of whether countries need them and they are appropriate. This is what they call it 'standard'.
