      Pros

      Remote work culture when I first joined was amazing. Empathetic leaders, remote team activities and swag, unique D&I initiatives, focus on async work, focus weeks, smart colleagues, etc.

      Cons

      There a lot of inefficiencies in the business. Many initiatives to improve processes ended up moving at a very slow pace, and at times it was challenging to move projects forward. There is a strong sense of collaboration, which is a great thing, but oftentimes having to get buy-in from so many different teams ended up delaying projects timelines unnecessarily. At previous jobs, I was used to getting responses pretty quickly- at Twitter, I had to get used to waiting a couple of days sometimes to hear back.

      Pros

      Smart and caring leadership who valued shipping but also work life balance. The culture was amazing. All of this has changed with new management though.

      Cons

      With new management, there's a lack of communication, tight deadlines and long hours for some, no days of rest, and no BRGs (internal groups such as Twitter Women, Twitter Parents, and Blackbirds).

      Thank God Elon took over this hellhole. Insufferable employees and ethos before he did.

      Pros

      Seriously, none. Dorsey ran a bloated, garbage company with frivolous spending (case in point: the all-day cafeteria), thinking he could ride on magical investor funding money forever . I quit because the people were insufferably unproductive. Oh, one pro is a cool screen with live tweets on it. Security guard was nice, too.

      Cons

      The company culture in general. People somehow imbued with the idea that they're world leaders or that they have the monopoly on ideas and speech. They truly sit in meeting rooms and discuss this. The fiscal irresponsibility was astounding.
