Pros

Total compensation including stock bonus. Private health insurance for a whole family. Free meals even in nearby cafes. Comfortable office in the city center. Low-percentage mortgage and loans. Interesting and challenging tasks. Working with the best engineers in the country.

Cons

Some people are toxic. Problems with planning in some teams. Most backend developers have to be on duty from time to time. Much pressure and too much work in some teams. These all cons may result in a stressful environment and constant overworking.

Good brand and good record in CV, recruiters from FAANG are actively looking for Yandex workers at Linkedin.

Cons

Low salaries, big burocracy inside, most of the good engineers from Yandex were hired by FAANG companies and moved out of the Yandex, totally untransparent and unexplainable Performance review process.
