      Chalanging and interesting tasks, world class technology, smart people. Yandex school of data analysis.

      Cons

      Average salary. Becomes more burocratic and business oriented than technology driven but maybe it's ok for grown company.

      There is interesting projects. No doubt you will bump into challenge to solve arising problems. Great atmosphere, great co-workers.

      Cons

      Not competitive salary. Some teams use old school tools and too rigid software development processes.

      Pros

      One of several companies on the Earth that solves complicated problems on a large scale. Yandex has it's own data analysis school and a computer science department in a university. Complicated problems for those who like it and less complicated for those who don't :) You can easily know what happens in other departments using internal forum. Great work/life balance, flexible working hours. The best company I have worked yet.

      Cons

      It's not easy to work outside of Russia.
