      Fun place to work, but not much hope for advancement

      Pros

      Fun environment, fun people, smart people, fun atmosphere.

      Cons

      Not much room for advancement even if you do your job well. Once you are in the role it is typically to be stuck doing that role unless you go to grad school or whatnot.

      - Everyone knows and loves YouTube - We are crushing it - Company direction is clear and strong (thanks to CEO) - Google money/safety net (unrivaled) - Fun, vibrant culture

      Cons

      - Spoiled employees (especially engineers, no offense!) - Not the most empowering environment for growth, with lots of chains of management and stifling middle managers
