      Same great benefits as Google. Able to meet up with cool YouTube stars. Working on innovative tech everyday. Just a cool place to hang around.

      Not in tune with video production standards.

      Pros

      Great people. The opportunity to work on a product that reaches almost a billion people. Be at the cutting edge of video, technology, and media. Great pay and benefits.

      Cons

      Endless meetings. Endless email churn. Endless fire drills for sales and marketing teams. Google has 35,000 employees now, so YouTube is part of a huge bureaucratic organization. Don't expect career advancement especially for mid or lower lever employees. The company is jammed with directors who will never leave so advancement is difficult at best.
