Pros

Great location - Melbourne CBD, next to a main station Above average pay and (usually) good bonuses

Cons

* Very UK centric - despite efforts (words), to the contrary many people are invariably expected to operate around UK times and often USA times too - essentially ignoring the impact of widely differing time zones. * A very friendly culture on the surface, but many are not as they present themselves - mostly in the realms of senior managers upwards and (disappointingly) in HR. * Incompetence at senior levels isn't addressed - either ignored or moved around. * Very performative - senior managers are interested in how things look rather than reality. This supports incompetents and BS artists rising to senior levels. * All the talk about "greener" and aiming for NetZero - disappointing that this was all talk, especially under Murray. And is slowly being killed / sold off.

Pros

People are fantastic with overall good speak up culture.

Cons

Since Murray Achincloss took over, the company has struggled to find itself and is acting like a teenager bending to the whims of its shareholders and US politicians. Leaders do not have clear priorities so employees are left to do it all and hope it's rewarded.
