      Pros

      Great pay and benefits. There is a real concern for a good work life balance. Incentives offered for healthy living. Lots of opportunity for growth and experience. You can usually transfer to a different position after a couple of years. Excellent relocation package for qualifying employees.

      Cons

      There are some very complex or cumbersome processes to deal with at BP, which can make it hard to get work done in a cost effective manner. Technology upgrades can be slow and painful due to the size of the company.

      This company did and does own good assets that will bring value if they are responsibly run and managed.

      Management does not listen to it's employees and experts and has frequently made poor decision against the advice of these experts and employees that has lead to negative impacts on their business.
