      Good employer for retail job

      Pros

      This was one of my favorate jobs while working retail. Pay was fair. Rewards for performance. They made me feel like much more than a number, and training was excellent.

      Cons

      Some of my coworkers dabbled in drug use. Other than that, it was an ideal employer. Hours were odd at times, but you would expect that at any similar job. Lots of turnover.

      If you're an engineer, BP is a great place to work. If you're a corporate staff member, not so much!

      Pros

      Benefits and compensation above average in the marketplace For technical functions, there's room to grow and learn. Best place to be is Houston, TX, as the company is shifting its corporate presence there.

      Cons

      No work-life balance Constant reorganization and change The only division that is respected is Exploration and Production. If you're in one of the other divisions, you work in daily fear of downsizing and divestment.

      Cons

      - Some very unethical and nincompoops have made their way into the management of otherwise a very great pool of people. - There is no apprecition for hard work and accomplishments. - The feedback is always lacking and management is always discreet in thier behaviour.
