      Pros

      Great pay, great benefits, great bonus structure, good work and personal life balance.

      Cons

      I worked as a contract employee for many years, and developed strong relationships, and reputation for delivering. After 6 years, I was hired directly and continued to perform exceptional at every role, exceeded expectations on performance reviews, received many spot bonuses, but was laid off as soon as an assignment I was working on was completed, without much help from management to help me find another assignment and continue to develop my career.

      Generally friendly, good benefits if you have a long term view

      Cons

      nature of the industry is long project cycle times, limited progression because of that (limited turnover in staff and limited positions)

      Nice package, recreation, insurance etc. Also, ability to maintain good work/life balance.

      Cons

      A bit bureaucratic organization. If you want to get something done, you should allow substantial time to see it finished.
