Through the hashtag#IRespect campaign, we give visibility to the principles that guide our company: respect, listening, and recognition of every individual’s dignity. Colleagues from different countries chose to take part, giving a face to this initiative and reflecting a shared commitment to an inclusive work environment that brings together diverse cultures and professional backgrounds. hashtag#IRespect is an invitation expressed through everyday actions: welcoming new colleagues, opening up to different ideas, and acknowledging the value of each person’s journey. By making these behaviours visible, we strengthen a culture where diversity is recognised and respect is a shared responsibility across our global organisation. #GrowWithRINA
Our 12th International Conference on Magnetism and Metallurgy - WMM ’26 came to a close, marking a step forward for a community working at the intersection of materials science, metallurgy and industrial innovation, while fostering discussions on the technologies shaping the next generation of energy, mobility and industrial systems. Held for the first time in China, the conference brought together more than 240 researchers, industry leaders and technology experts from across the world. Shougang Group, as co-organizer, made Shougang Park available as the conference venue, a particularly meaningful setting: a former steelworks transformed into one of Beijing’s most distinctive innovation hubs, where the legacy of the steel industry is seamlessly connected to its ongoing transformation into a space for innovation, adding a unique layer of meaning to the discussions on the future of magnetism and metallurgy during WMM ’26. #GrowWithRINA
In the framework of the OSCE project “Promoting Green Ports in the Caspian Sea Region – Phase III”, with the OSCE project team we conducted site visits to the ports of Baku, Aktau and Kuryk, together with our partner HPC Hamburg Port Consulting GmbH and local stakeholders. The visits provided the opportunity to engage directly with port authorities and technical teams, combining on-site inspections with dedicated technical meetings on climate risk analysis, resilience planning and energy transition pathways. Discussions also focused on solutions such as Onshore Power Supply and renewable energy solutions, alongside the development of Digital Twin architectures and Environmental Monitoring Systems. These activities enabled the collection of valuable data to support climate action and energy transition plans tailored to each port, while confirming a strong openness to collaboration and innovation across the region. In the next phase the OSCE project will focus on targeted training sessions, technical workshops and continued dialogue with port authorities to align strategies and identify concrete actions for implementation. #GrowWithRINA
Cities are no longer static systems. They evolve continuously, shaped by data, technology and informed decision making. Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way urban renovation is approached. By leveraging advanced language models, large volumes of information can be analysed efficiently and converted into structured, actionable insights. This supports more informed planning, stronger coordination and renovation strategies designed to reduce disruption while enhancing the long‑term value of urban environments. In this video, our Jairis and Gianmarco share insights on how, through initiatives such as BUILDCHAIN-PROJECT, we apply these technologies in practice, strengthening data‑driven renovation planning and supporting the development of cities that are more resilient, adaptive and future‑ready. #GrowWithRINA
The 7th Annual Women in Tech Global Conference 2026 came to a close, marking four days of meaningful discussions around inclusion, innovation and leadership in technology. We took part in the Career and Growth Summit, contributing to a global dialogue focused on professional development, career pathways and the evolving role of technology in shaping opportunities. As part of our partnership with WomenTech Network, we contributed to the programme with two sessions addressing complementary perspectives. Shaping Careers with Purpose” highlighted how continuous development, adaptability, and inclusive environments enable meaningful and sustainable career progression, while “Discover RINA: Who We Are and Why We Chose It” provided an inside look at our company, values, and impact through personal career choices. Our sincere thanks to Silvia Semenza, Marzia Basso, Margherita Cioffi and Irene Fontana for sharing their expertise and perspectives with a global community. As this edition concludes, the importance of creating spaces for open dialogue becomes even more evident, bringing together diverse experiences to shape more inclusive and future‑ready professional environments. #GrowWithRINA
Within the framework of Åland Maritime Day in Mariehamn, we took part in the Mercy Ships 5 km and 10 km charity race. The initiative supports Mercy Ships’ mission to deliver medical care and surgical support in regions with limited access to healthcare, through hospital ships operated by volunteer medical professionals. A big kudos to our colleagues at Foreship Ltd. who joined the race and actively support this important humanitarian effort: Michelle Cottet, Viktor Gingsjö, Linus Olin and Jan-Erik Räsänen. #GrowWithRINA
We hosted professors from Eduardo Mondlane University - Mozambique, at our Genoa offices for an intensive R&D training programme, delivered as part of a three‑year Technical Assistance project developed with Università degli Studi di Genova. The training focused on transferring operational capabilities across the full lifecycle of research and innovation projects, with a strong emphasis on real‑world application rather than theory. The sessions addressed concrete topics, including: - understanding EU and international funding programmes and how to identify relevant opportunities; - translating strategic priorities into solid project concepts and proposals; - structuring R&D proposals around excellence, impact and implementation; - managing projects once funded, including planning, reporting and change management. The initiative represents a concrete step in strengthening institutional research capacity, enabling universities to develop sustainable grant ecosystems, international collaboration and long‑term innovation strategies. This is how we contribute to building research capability and turning knowledge into applied, verifiable skills for people. #GrowWithRINA
Singapore Maritime Week 2026 marked a clear shift from intent to execution in maritime innovation and energy transition. Concrete milestones were achieved across methanol, electrification and hydrogen through certifications and Approvals in Principle. Strategic collaborations strengthened applied research and real‑world deployment of next‑generation vessels and systems. Pioneering projects were recognised, including the world’s first methanol‑powered IMO II chemical bunker tanker. New memorandums of understanding advanced port electrification and charging infrastructure for ferry and terminal operations. Talent development took a major step forward with the launch of the Maritime Engineering Doctoral Training Centre. Singapore reaffirmed its role as a global hub where regulation, innovation and industrial execution converge. #GrowWithRINA
As Türkiye advances high speed rail, modernisation of conventional lines and new urban mobility systems, robust system engineering and assurance frameworks remain essential to achieving safety, interoperability and regulatory compliance. Within this evolving landscape, we delivered dedicated technical workshops to Altyapı Yatırımları Genel Müdürlüğü in Ankara and Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devlet Demiryolları (TCDD) in Istanbul, strengthening collaboration on major national rail development programmes. Over two intensive sessions, our team shared structured insights into system engineering methodologies, TSI compliance, CSM risk evaluation and the integration of assurance frameworks across complex railway and metro projects. These workshops reflect the combined strengths of our global railway expertise and our local presence in Türkiye. #GrowWithRINA
