Question 1
Have you heard of Accenture before and why are you interested in working with us?
I applied Accenture via LinkedIn. After a couple of business days, a recruiter reached out to me asking to schedule an initial call to move forward with the interview process. I sent her the reply within 24 hours and she sent me an invite for the call.
On the day of, I waited for my phone to ring but nothing came through. 5 minutes after our meeting time, I sent an email to the recruiter if our proposed time was still good for her to talk - no response.
Just like that, the recruiter left me hanging and never called me or replied me back. It is totally fine if she was caught up in something or needed to cancel the interview. But as a professional who represents one of the biggest consulting firms in the world to show this type of unprofessional behavior is NOT okay. She wasted my time to prep for the interview, my PTO, and the worst, no apologies, nothing.
I will not be applying to Accenture anymore in the future as they have severely left bitter experience in my mind. I still can't believe an actual working professional displayed this type of behavior ON HER JOB.
