I interviewed at Activision Blizzard (New York, NY)
Interview
One leet code and behavioural. I answered them all but failed to explain my thought process well. Let code was easy the question for about rotating elements.
Behavioural was mostly about my background and challenges in previous projects
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Activision Blizzard in Apr 2025
Interview
Very short-lived, even after getting referred to the role. The hiring manager for the role was my first-round interview after the recruiter screening, and it was quite a turnoff.
First off, a comment was made about how it is weird that I wore a suit to a video game company's interview. Understandably, yeah, it's different than their culture, but who cares, and what a strange thing to say to a candidate (IMO). I just shrugged it off and made a joke about wearing gym shorts since this was a video call.
Second, after showing I performed due diligence on the hiring manager interviewing me by asking about the current risk assessment process that he says he implemented for the team on his linkedin, he cut me off and told me how that process has been tossed and he couldn't care less about kmowing anytjing on it (as I was not familair with procedures that went into it).
The interview became somewhat uncomfortable after that, and all of the answers to his questions were practically one word. Pretty much a horrible expeirience and I could not wait for it to be over.
I am sure it is a good place to work for some people, but the whole thing turned me off. At least for that team.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Activision Blizzard (Irvine, CA)
Interview
The interview process was a bit much. It dragged on for 5 months. People were nice enough. Gave the job to someone who they got through the process in 2 weeks. They kept adding people into the process. Most companies have a group of people youre up against in the panel at the same time but here they just keep adding people into the process.
