I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Activision Blizzard in May 2023
Interview
Regular process but the interview was very weird. Few panel members were not technically competent like what you might expect from Microsoft (as it is getting acquired) and you can sense insecurity in them when they realize you are good and can replace them in the future. Some interviewers were really good but some of them were just too silent in the interview panel for anything you ask. Felt like they were working on something on their own and they didn't seem to care.

Interview
They give you a take home assignment and then review it with you. They also add technical and syntax questions during the interview, although the interviewer may not always be clear with what they are looking for with their question.

Question 1

Interview
Received an online assessment that consisted of about 4 to 5 leetcode/hacker rank like questions. Aced all the test cases with the optimal time and space complexity. What do they proceed to do? Ghost me, HR won't answer emails. And I know they see them since I always get an anonymous view from an Activison Blizzard employee on LinkedIn when I send them. one of the worst HR experiences in the industry. Can't use the 'but they're a big company, they don't have time' bs excuse. Sorry but Amazon and Google are 100x bigger and their HR is top notch!!! Pathetic excuse for a company
