I applied online. I interviewed at Adyen (Amsterdã) in Apr 2018
Interview
I applied through a job portal. I am from India so I first got a video test which was very easy and some basic questions were asked like why you want to come to Netherlands.
Then I got a codility test having java and sql tests which were tricky but not difficult.
Then couple of more interviews technical and cultural rounds and finally I was asked to visit Adyen office in Amsterdam and had 2 more interviews - 1 technical, 1 managerial followed by a discussion with HR.
Adyen HR is really good and cooperative. The way they booked tickets and made all travel arrangements was really impressive. Office environment was quite positive when I visited for my final rounds.

I applied online. I interviewed at Adyen (Amsterdã) in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied online and after couple of days was called for an initial skype interview and was followed by a Codility challenge, which was not so difficult. After that there was a technical interview with two of their tem members who asked plenty of technical questions about java, threading, postgres etc.
After their I was invited for an on-site interview with their technical leads in their office in Amsterdam. They did not ask much there just normal discussion about your working style like: how you tackle a problem, how you manage consensus in the team, how you criticize an idea etc. It’s fair to say they were more focused towards cultural, behavior fit rather than technical.
It was very strange that technical people were evaluating behavior and working style and finally they did not offer me and gave reason that your previous working background culture does not match with us.
However, recruiter was very nice lady. She was very cooperative to fix the interview dates and arrange travel and hotel.
