I applied online. I interviewed at Adyen (Amsterdã) in Jan 2024
Interview
Technical assesment was a bit difficult. Next one is technical interview where you discuss about my code. It wasn't bad experience, they were pretty kind about the context that I'm not familiar with.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Adyen (Chicago, IL) in May 2025
Interview
Got a referral from someone internally, then spoke briefly with recruiter, then team lead, had a timed coding test, an hour review/revise session with some engineers on different teams, then a final behavioral interview with an SVP.
Between the submitting the coding test & reviewing it there was a company-wide offsite for 2 weeks that I was not informed of. By the time they had their employees review my result and decide on another round of the interview, it had been 3.5 weeks. No one acknowledged that I had been left waiting in the dark and no one apologized for it either.
