I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Big Fish Games
Interview
Fun, casual group interview. One interviewer asked the usual questions - experience, education, etc - and the other was more chatty and personable. Had a quick typing/writing portion on a laptop, as well.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Big Fish Games (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2013
Interview
I was set up to fail from the beginning. I asked the recruiter what the interview was like and she said it was all one on one interviews. I walk in and I'm presenting my portoflio to 20 people on my iPad. I did not have a backup copy or any way to hook up my iPad to the projector and it didn't go well. I got many process questions, design questions, and how I work as a designer. I was off my game from the presentation fiasco and found it difficult to recover from my first impression.
My lunch was the secretary dropping off a sandwich, chips, and a drink that I ate by myself in a huge conference room by myself. At the end of the interviews the guy left and I discovered there weren't any more interviews because nobody came to interview me after 15-20 minutes. I walked out of the building without one person saying goodbye. This interview experience was one of the worst ones I've ever had in my career.

Interview
The whole interview process takes a very long time. The hiring manager and interview teams are very nice and friendly. Lots of questions abut CS algorithm and system design. However, the recruiter is the worst I have ever seen. He never answers my question or reply emails, very very rude.
