I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton
Interview
On campus recruiting. Heard back promptly. Simple behavioral interview and standard questions. Nothing out of left field. Very good interviewer. Second round was with someone in my desired field. Very easy and nice people.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (McLean, VA) in Jun 2011
Interview
Initial phone interview with recruiter about general skills and background. Afterwards, invited by email to a hiring event where each candidate sits down at their own table. Groups/teams that are interested in interviewing the candidate take turns at the table (like speed dating). Make sure you ask questions about the team and remember what they each do, this will help later on during offer/negotiations. Multiple teams were interested, but can only negotiate with one team at a time and there is no going back if you decline and the next one doesn't work out.

Question 1
Most of my questions were technical, but be prepared for some behavioral past work experience and how your handled it.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Washington, DC) in Oct 2014
Interview
Impressed! After a telephone screen, by a very polished BAH Sr. Recruiter, Invited to attend a speed dating like interview event where candidates could interview with different managers working on distinct projects. Lots of coordination required of the BAH folks, but everything went smoothly and according to plan. The managers I interviewed with were both down to earth, professional and new what they were talking about. For the first time in awhile, I walked away from an interview(s) with a very positive feeling for the company and all the BAH employees I encountered along the way.
