The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (McLean, VA) in Apr 2010
Interview
Interview process began with a phone screen from the recruiter. General questions about my skills, background and what I am looking for. Next step was a writing sample. I was emailed the case and had 1 hour to complete and resend back to the recruiter. After the writing sample I was asked to come in for a group interview during this process it was like speed dating. I interviewed with 5 people, one at a time. All candidates were in one room and each had a desk. The interviewers came to my table and we talked for about 20 min each. Then there was a 30 min social at the end with all candidates and interviewers.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Linthicum, MD) in Nov 2010
Interview
There were three different division from Booz Allen there: Software Development, Cyber technology, and Analytics. Each division had 3-4 pairs of interviewers and you rotated through each pair. This led to quick paced interviews with over 20 different people from Booz Allen. While it felt semi-rushed, it was nice because it gave you multiple opportunities to make a good impression. Instead of having one chance to connect with the interviewer, you had several. It also gave you the ability to learn more about each different division.
If you did well, you get an unofficial offer a few days later, potentially from more than one division. You can then say what division you liked the most and then they will work on extending you an official offer

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton in Apr 2009
Interview
Overall an easy and pleasant experience. The internal recruiter was helpful and responsive, and the interview process itself was smooth. The hiring manager moved quickly to get me in an interview, and followed up quickly with an offer. Initial impressions of the company and my future colleagues were very positive. The interview/hiring experience definitely affected my decision to join Booz Allen Hamilton.

Question 1
No terribly difficult questions. Interview focused more on "fit" rather than my specific skillset.
