Assessment center, first did a group work and presentation, we then had to read a brief and give a presentation to one assesor and lastly a one to one interview with competancy based questions
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cadbury (London, KY) in Apr 2023
Interview
Good but challenging. Would recommend to anyone with love of chocolate biscuits, wafers, sweets, cookies, desserts, etc. However increased dental bills may be an issue. In other words, chocolate skills will be put to the test.
The interview starts with an in-person or video interview with the hiring manager, where they ask you to explain your understanding of food science basics like food safety, shelf life, ingredients, and quality control. You may also be asked about past lab experience, how you follow standard procedures, and how you handle mistakes or unexpected results. Next, there is often a practical or technical step, such as reviewing a sample product formula, explaining how you would improve texture or flavor, or describing how you would test for contamination or stability. where they check if you can communicate clearly and work safely in a lab environment. Finally, the company reviews feedback from everyone you met and HR contacts you with the decision, and if you are selected, they discuss the offer, starting date, and training plan.
