I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cengage (Mason, OH) in Mar 2018
Interview
I went through multiple rounds of interviews for different positions within the Marketing department. I had previously interned for the company so even though I spoke with roughly 10 individuals over a month, I knew they cared about my placement on the team or (at the very least) wanted me to have a spot within one of their teams. My primary contact throughout the hiring process was remote and kept in constant contact with me about where I stood and the expected times I would hear back. I came into the office on 2 separate occasions to interview with 6 total Marketing Managers. I also met with my now manager over Skype on several occasions to discuss final salary/start date/etc.

Question 1
What are ways in which your previous work experience, college, internships, etc. helped prepare you for a marketing role?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cengage (Raleigh, NC)
Interview
Phone screening, assessment and then an on site interview. Met with group of managers and a group of content developers. Interviewers didn't seem interested in having an interview. I made up my mind during the interview that I didn't want to work with them. The job itself sounded great and I felt that I could contribute to the team, but I didn't feel like it would be a great fit personality wise.
I applied online. I interviewed at Cengage (Clifton Park, NY) in Jul 2018
Interview
Two phone interviews, two video conference interviews, one on-site interview with two groups. Took place over the course of two weeks. While I was told the process would take a few weeks, it was clear they wanted to hire ASAP, so the process did seem rushed at times. However, I enjoyed getting to know several individuals across the company throughout the interview process. This provided a well-rounded staff perspective of Cengage.
