I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Cengage (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
The hiring and interview process did take months. So I sent them emails to see if they were still considering my application for the role. Fortunately they hired me. The interview itself was great. The interviewer asked the typical questions and threw in a few random questions in there too that almost threw me off. One of the questions was, what are your hobbies? I wasn't expecting that question but realized that they want well-rounded individuals that also have a life outside of work.

Question 1
Have you had a conflict with another employee and how did you handle the situation?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Cengage (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
Standard process - phone screen with hiring manager, followed by 4 first round video interviews, and 2 final round video interviews, all with people that I would be interacting with in the role I was interviewing for. After receiving an offer, there was ample opportunity for me to get all of my questions answered before having to make a decision.

Interview
The recruiting team and the hiring manager and team did a great job in allowing me enough opportunity to interview them as much as they were interviewing me. A true breakthrough!
