I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Aliso Viejo, CA) in Jun 2011
Interview
They asked me multiple questions about my experience, and what I sought to achieve working there. Very basic interview. One of the main concerns even for the cashier spot was whether or not I had my food handlers license. They sat me down inside the restaurant and I was interviewed one on one. Relatively relaxed mood.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Mesa, AZ) in Jun 2013
Interview
Easy, asked general questions
why should we hire you? what does high standards mean to you? Why did you pick chipotle?
If you study about Chipotle, such as what makes them different from other store, and give them information during the interview, they appreciate that you've done your homework. Saw a few people turned down because they overdressed (greased back hair and tie). Its a cashiers position, over dressing make you look fake and they know it.
