The first interview is via video. However, you won't be communicating with a live person. The Q&A is timed. You have 2 mins to answer the question. 1 min. prior to think about the question.
The interview is recorded and then the Hiring Manager/Recruiting watches the recording at a later time to determine whether you'll be proceeding to the next stage.
It was too impersonal for me as I like to communicate and body language allows me to know where I stand. But weren't difficult questions, you just get one shot, no backsies.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why Chipotle? / Have you ever been in charge of a group of people? / A time something wasn't done right, your reaction?
Standard interview questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Modesto, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
I applied online at Chipotle and was emailed a week later for a job interview. I arrived 15 minutes prior, and there was only one other girl there. We signed in, and then a flood of others who were being interviewed arrived a couple minutes later. I waited about 10 minutes after the time of the interview was set to be called up. The service manager made me feel very comfortable and she was very nice. It was a positive experience for a first timer like myself.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (New York, NY) in Mar 2015
Interview
I was interviewed with 2 other people. They ask a lot of background questions, you need to know the history. It is a bonus to have previous experience. Mangers are cool and easy going. Looking for someone that is motivated and will fit in with the environment.
