I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Mansfield, MA) in Apr 2014
Interview
I applied online and received an email the next day asking me to come in for an interview that week. I came in for the interview and had to wait 30 minutes because the manager on that day was never told by the other manager that I was coming in (even though they were the ones who scheduled the interview specifically at that time in the email). I had a group interview with one other girl and after that interview the manager told us both to come in for a second interview a few days later.
The second interview was just me and the other manager, and it went really well and she definitely made me think that I would get the job. I also have almost 2 years of experience working with food and made sure I knew a lot about the company, acted extremely outgoing and energetic, and basically i think i was a pretty ideal candidate. After that second interview, I received a call to come in for a THIRD interview, which I agreed to. For the third interview, I was brought to a table with 2 recruiters and the manager. So, it was a 3 on 1 interview. Seemed pretty intense for fast food? It went really well, all three of them were asking me tons of in depth questions about my work experience and why I wanted to work at chipotle. They even brought me in to the kitchen after to show me around. They then told me they'd be in touch, and I optimistically waited for what felt like a pretty definite job offer.
But then I got an email today saying they are unable to offer me a job at this time. I'm extremely disappointed because I gave up so much of my time to comply to their demands and go through a pretty hellish interview process for a fast food job. Every single time I had an interview I had to wait at least 15 minutes after the time they told me to arrive. Also, it just seemed like the staff was disorganized. Also note that this process of 3 interviews took about a month.

Interview
After putting in my application online, I received a call to schedule an interview from the general manager. I had a first round group interview. The questions were very basic, and they were just trying to get a feel for everyone's personality and interest in the job and company. Then they called me back the next day to schedule a second round interview which was a one-on-one interview with a different manager. They asked more specific and detailed questions about me and my interest in the job and what I could offer. After this interview, I was then called after a couple days to schedule an on-the-job-experience. I came in for the oje in the morning and was able to see what a day at Chipotle looks like. I was able to ask the crew members and managers questions. Then I was called and offered the job. I had to go in and put in paperwork and then was working the following week.
