I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (New York, NY)
Interview
I eat here because I love the food and have never seen an unhappy worker there, so when I was job hunting I decided to apply. I filled out an application online but decided to do a walk-in interview to express interest. It worked! The manager said there on-line application process had been overwhelmed but I should come back another day for an interview the store was busy. I returned and had a great interview with a manager.
He was very personable and explained the company's philosophy and expectations. I was asked typical interview questions-strengths and weaknesses, a time you overcame a difficult situation on the job--nothing too tough. I was invited for a second interview.

All the questions were typical: why did you choose to apply to this company? What are your strengths and weaknesses? How have you overcome a difficult situation on the job?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Aventura, FL) in Nov 2013
Interview
it was a job fair they had on a weekend, they did a group interview the first time to see if they would call you back for a second interview. They sat us down(4 people) and asked us if we were happy about working or had a positive attitude or willing to work long hours in a fast paced environment. after that they would call you back and ask you why you want to work at chipotle and what you could bring to the table.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2013
Interview
The first interview was very informal. He wore a basic collard shirt and faded jeans and it was held in the McDonalds next to the Chipotle restaurant. I accidentally showed up 30 minutes early and the hiring manager agreed to let me join the earlier interview. The questions he asked were pretty basic, "Why do you want to work for us?" "What do you know about Chipotle?" He also asked "If you had more time on your hands what would you do with it?" and "If your best friend could describe you in one word what would it be?"

Question 1
During the second interview process the most difficult question they asked me was, "Where do I see myself ten years from now?" This was difficult for me because I don't like to see look too far into the future and I live life step by step.
