It was a group interview with around 22 people. We all had to fill out job applications and then the interviewers told us their backgrounds and how they got to Chipotle and how they became restaurateurs. Afterword they asked us to tell them about ourselves and we went around the room answering. Because there were so many people that was really the only question asked unless they asked for elaboration on whatever. The final step was for us to ask them questions and then we were sent home and told we'd be sent an email or given a phone call if they wanted to set up a 2nd interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2013
Interview
Applied online, answered questions online such like this: why you want to work for Chipotle, what your goals and what you can bring to Chipotle. 2-3 weeks after submitted, they sent me an email to set up interview appointment and I replied and set up to show up at 11:00am and I showed up and there were nobody in the job fair event and only two people there to interview applicants and I was interviewed for 10 min then told me that will be in touch in a couple days. Two days after interview I received an email from Chipotle with no person name that wrote the email to me that they said I wasn't being selected for an offer for a position. No explanations at all! Very cold and unprofessional way to handle.

Question 1
Why you want to work for Chipotle? What can you bring to the table? Are you looking for a full-time job? Where you will be two years from today if hired?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Mineola, NY) in Oct 2013
Interview
The entire process took three and a half days. I filled out the online application on Sunday, a few hours later I got a call asking to come in on Monday. Monday I went in and had a group interview (with one other person) with the service manager. She asked really basic questions (what was I doing now, about my previous work experience, why Chipotle, etc.) and asked us to come back for another interview on Wednesday. On Wednesday I had a one on one interview with two crew members and they asked the same/similar questions. By Wednesday night I got the "Welcome to Chipotle" email and another phone call asking me to come in with two forms of ID.
