The recruiter started interviewing me for the wrong role, one that did not align whatsoever with my resume that she had in front of her. After politely clarifying which role I had applied to, we proceeded and she was pretty much reciting a list of questions one-by-one rather than truly engaging. I moved on to the next interview with the actual team, and it seemed to go well. I had to reach out to hear any type of response thereafter, which eventually came in the form of an automatic rejection email. It felt like if I hadn't followed up, I would have been ghosted.
The process was quick and fast but very vague on responsibilities. I met with 3 persons and was never offered a role due to an impromptu freeze. Hopefully when it's lifted I am still in the running for consideration

Question 1
Are you willing to come into the office 5 days a week?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Complex in Jun 2025
Interview
****Every creative people should be alerted of this company. ****
It is a contract based role. They asked me to complete a ongoing project task which takes about a week to finish, and of course, without any compensation. I've been requested to present the most core, valuable part of the task. I mentioned this is impossible due to the nature of project, and my role as a candidate. They replied "We wanted to see your ability in certain aspect". It makes me feel very disrespectful and unreasonable. Since the role I interviewed is a short contract based role, there are possiblities that they trying to make people do unpaid work by the so-call guise of a creative assessment.
Not to mention the workload is a bit massive for only assessment (hey they need a presentation not just few images could do).
