I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at DHL Supply Chain (Ontario, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Had applied for three positions the first a month back and two two weeks later. Was called right after the third application about the first position and was asked salary requirements after explaining them they explained that they would call back after verifying the salary range. They never called back.
Was called two weeks later on a Friday afternoon was told they had my resume and wanted to interview if I can visit following Monday. I did, but was not made aware for which position I was interviewing.
Interview day arrived, there was no receptionist and office was half empty, walked in to offices and was seen by someone in an office I explained I was there for interview and they told me to wait in lobby. Waited for 30min for a third party to come and get me for the interview. Was interviewed by four persons, all identified themselves by name but no tittles.
They asked questions and I gave answers for twenty min. After which the HR? person asked for salary requirements, I explained my last salary at which time there was an awkward silence. At that point one of the other interviewer explained that the job did not pay that much and that "not even the GM's get paid that much". I then asked what position I was interviewing for, they explained operations manager but they were looking for both. But the other job paid even less.
They asked if I had a question I did and they answered then one of them said well that's it. So I got up they all shook hands and then sat back down. I was standing there and well turned around walked out of their conference room and walked down the hall and out on my own.
